Dr Janet Adam

Janet grew up on Vancouver Island and was involved with animals and 4-H from early on, which influenced her decision to become a veterinarian. After graduation from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, she was hired at the Granville Island Veterinary Hospital in Vancouver, BC. After spending several years as an associate, she became an owner of this practice, but always felt that Vancouver Island was “home”. Coming back and opening Millstream Veterinary Hospital was the perfect answer. Janet has a special interest in complex medical cases, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, you can often find her on the local trails with a border collie or two, training for her next big trail race.
