Brief info
Mikala moved to Canada from Sydney, Australia in 2005. where she was the winner of Australian Idol in 2003. While "Didgeridon't Break My Heart" was only a hit in Australia (and oddly, Brazil), the crush of fame made moving to Canada the sensible thing.
She lived in lovely Banff and Tofino before settling in Victoria. Mikala completed the Veterinary Office Management program at Insignia College in 2009, and has worked in a busy small animal practice since then. With her years of experience, Mikala is a tremendous resource for all pet owners, especially behind the scenes as our resident inventory chief.
During her spare time, Mikala loves to travel, read, cheer on the Aussie Women's soccer team, dance like no one is watching and above all, spend time with her family.
